WIEDZA A DOŚWIADCZENIE, CZYLI JAKIE INFORMACJE ZNAJDUJĄ SIĘ W SŁOWNIKU, A JAKIE W REPORTAŻU

Jadwiga Biernacka

Abstrakt

Knowledge or experience? What kind of information we can find in a dictionary and what in a reportage?

There’s always been a question, whether reportage is literature or not, but nobody has ever asked, whether there is any connection between this genre and science. The main purpose of this thesis is to prove that reportage is a literary genre closely related to the humanities and social sciences. By analyzing two multi-genred works, which contain elements typical both of reportage and dictionary: Egzamin na świra, czyli mały i niepraktyczny słownik slangu hipisowskiego… by Jacek Hugo
-Bader and Jakuck. Słownik miejsca by Michał Książek, I will try to find out what kind of impact is created by mixing those genres. The thesis will be started by discussion concerning main features of both kinds of works and their styles and after that, precise reading will prove, if the main idea of the article was reasonable or not.
